Roger East was a pseudonym used by Roger d'Este Burford who was born in 1904. His main series character was Colin Knowles, though he only appeared twice I believe. He only wrote nine books and is largely a forgotten author today. Only two of the authors works were published in America. The main residual interest in the author lies mainly in the fact that some of the books were published by Collins Crime Club and had some attractive dust jackets with great period artwork. |
